Crazy Tartu 8. “Machine-like”

Crazy Tartu is on its way again! The international interdisciplinary festival Crazy Tartu will take place on the 9th and the 10th of November this year, offering live literature, music and art. The packed and lively program investigates the Estonian contemporary culture and creates borderline-exploring experiences in a borderline-exploring autumnal Tartu. The UNESCO City of Literature Tartu will “lose it” for the eighth time in a row, inviting writers, musicians and artists from Estonia and elsewhere in the world. The theme of the festival this year is “Machine-like” and it will be held at the Club of Different Rooms in Tartu Widget Factory (Kastani 42, Tartu).

The performers are from very different backgrounds and will soon be introduced by the organizers in detail. We are hunting new and unexpected connections presented by varying combinations of the following performers and artists: Kristiina Ehin, Jaan Elken, Mihkel Kaevats, Lauri Sommer, Jose Luiz Peixoto, Tartu’s first writer-in-residence Andrej Tomažin, Ly Seppel, Anna Grig, Enn Tegova, Shota Iatashvili, Wimberg, Çiğdem Y. Mirol, Siim Lill, Artemis Kelosaari, Nilson Muniz, Berk Vaher, Veronika Kivisilla, Rachel Long, Jacob Sam-La Rose and, of course, Luulur.
