We are glad to announce an OPEN CALL for Ukrainian artists in collaboration with the LOORE residency project funded by Nordic Culture Point
The deadline for applications is 14th of April.
During 2023–2024 members of the LOORE network will host artists through a funded residency program, giving artists a safe space to continue their creative practice and connect them with a supportive artistic community across Estonia. Tartu City of Literature will offer a 2-month residency for one Ukrainian writer as part of 8 different residency opportunities all of which offer free accommodation, travel allowance, and a stipend.
LOORE represents 14 different organisations in Estonia. Thanks to funding from the Nordic Culture Point, LOORE can provide support to Ukrainian artists. More info about the residencies can be found here: https://www.loore.ee/ukraine-residency
Formed in 2022, LOORE (The Estonian Creative Residencies Network) was created in response to the expressed need for better representation and collaboration between artist residencies in Estonia. With the goal of supporting the mobility of creative people and representing the interests of creative residencies; increasing capacity and influence, and their value. It also promotes the sharing of artistic resources and collaboration opportunities across its members.
